ROAM announces new streaming events, including a psychedelics workshop and skincare seminar

ROAM‘s ROAM HOME nonprofit organization has announced a new slate of livestream programming, starting with a psychedelics workshop next Tuesday, October 20th.

The new events aim for a different concept than the usual virtual rave programming. First up is Take A Trip! Safety In Psychedelics next Tuesday, a collaboration with DanceSafe that covers harm reduction approaches to LSD, mushrooms and DMT, as well as a history of psychedelics and how to use them.

On Thursday, October 22nd, Ariel Zetina and Jett Chandon will host MUA’s At The End Of The World, an interactive makeup and skincare seminar geared towards trans and non-binary people. (The title references Zetina’s EP from earlier this year.)

Lauren Ritter will host a session on the 27th called So You Want To Start A Record Label (also aimed at women, trans and non-binary people), while on Sunday, November 8th, Smoke & Tea will play a Sunday Afternoon livestream focused on “soothing, mediative ambient sounds.”

Attendance for each event is free, though donations are encouraged. You can sign up to attend here.

ROAM HOME is an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit, dedicated to “the social wellness of those within dance music and nightlife communities.”
