The album sees Dutch-Italian composer Aimée Portioli combining acoustic instruments with synthesisers like the Yamaha DX-7 across eight tracks. Editions Mego says the album’s title “indicates the desire to explore what is new and see what is around us from different perspectives.”
The release follows Portioli’s 2018 debut album Pineapple, which came out on Donato Dozzy and Neel’s Spazio Disponibile label, and a well-received ambient mix for the now-defunct Blowing Up The Workshop series.
