Emily A. Sprague returns to RVNG Intl. for new album, Hill, Flower, Fog

Emily A. Sprague is releasing a new album on RVNG Intl.

Initially a limited-time release for the first Bandcamp no-fees day in March, Hill, Flower, Fog has been expanded for a new digital version (out November 13th) and vinyl edition (arriving December 4th), accompanied by a photography book that documents “moments of pause, peace and communion experienced at home,” according to the New York label. It follows her first LP on the label, the dual reissue of Water Memory / Mount Vision, and a piece for the Commend Here‘s cassette series.

Hill, Flower, Fog is a place and a poem, a personal letter and vision for myself, outlining priorities that I aspire to incorporate during my time on earth: family, sustainability, patience and growth,” Sprague says.”

A portion of proceeds from the album will go to Lion’s Tooth Project, which is a community project that helps LGBTQIA+, immigrant, Black, Indigenous and POC youth to find healing and promote personal well-being through art and earth-based wellness practices.
