Boomkat series Documenting Sound continues with tapes from Hieroglyphic Being and Ulla
Ulla handles the first mixtape, a four-track record called inside means inside me. The following release, The Future Shock Chronicles Vol 1 comes from Hieroglyphic Being (pictured), who improvises across the tape’s eight tracks.
Boomkat launched Documenting Sound last week with a tape from Sarah Davachi. Like that release, these records are available as both a cassette tape and a digital album. The new release series intends to document improvised works produced by artists under quarantine.
