Best Effort Records announces next Stay In Bed compilation
The label run by ex-Sydney DJ Earl Grey, also one half of Ken Oath Records, has veered between dreamy, dance floor-focused sounds from artists like D. Tiffany and Phran & DJ Phidias and laid-back home listening records. As the name suggests, the Stay In Bed series tends towards the latter.
The second volume features ambient works from local acts like Matthew Hayes, Maria Moles, Felt Body and Mara, as well as global contributions from Russia’s Sophia Zhuravkova, Ukraine’s mlin patz and Noi from Berlin. The label explains that “the intention of the series is to bring comfort to listeners, in times of increased stress and uncertainty.”
