Afrodeutsche to release soundtrack for BAFTA-nominated documentary Kamali

Henrietta Smith-Rolla, AKA Afrodeutsche, will release her score for the BAFTA-nominated documentary Kamali on October 8th.

Sasha Rainbow’s short film about a young skateboarder in India was released in 2019. (You can watch it here.) Now, Smith-Rolla’s score will come out through SA Recordings, the label offshoot of Spitfire Audio.

The score consists of six pieces. The 10-inch and digital versions come with a sample library of bespoke synth sounds—”a set of tools for compositional storytelling, based around colour,” according to the press release.
